Senior Tester

Project description

Leading bank is seeking support for testing across their asset management/custody platforms like Charles River and Geneva for Back office, settlements. The bank has a portal/exchange for their securities business (equities, capital side) to interface with local and mobile. The bank requires testers to test, design, and execute new products functionally which will be interacting with the exchange and ensuring that orders are executed without problems.

Responsibilities

1. Functional tester with experience in asset management domain, custodian management, fund management, and order management.
2. Design framework to test, design, and execute for the products.
3. Ensure a new testing approach is defined for new products as these will require new functionalities.
4. Certify the testing is complete for the bank to release into production, utilizing separate SIT and UAT environments.
5. Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs) who write test cases and test solutions.
6. Coordinate with local vendors providing portal and mobile software and handle deployment.

SKILLS

Must have

1. 5 to 6 years of experience (Senior Consultant level).
2. Experience in asset management, custodian management, and order management systems.
3. Familiarity with platforms like Charles River and Geneva for back-office and settlement processes.
4. Experience in working with retail-focused securities, equities, mutual funds, and capital management business.
5. Proficiency in testing for SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) environments.
6. Ability to create, design, and execute test cases for new functionalities in the securities business and asset management systems.
7. Understanding of testing processes and release management (though the role does not require defining the release management process).

Nice to have

1. Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools, primarily Selenium (for web portal testing), with openness to explore other automation tools.
