Job description

Responsible for Personal and equipment safety
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of plant machinery like Pumps, Gear box, Compressor, Blower, Conveyor belt, cooling tower, heat exchanger etc.
Performing mechanical repairs using hand and power tools
Carryout routine preventive maintenance jobs.
Responsible to perform assigned job independently

Can read and understand equipments manual and drawings.

Getting instruction from Shift-incharge/Foreman.

Ensure proper maintenance of equipment in compliance with standard work instruction.

Troubleshooting faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem-solving abilities

Lead the team member to perform assigned job.

On-call Maintenance based on instruction from Shift in charge/Foreman.

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

Perform regular preventive & routine maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities as per schedule.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.

Fill and maintain daily equipment checklist.

Perform daily / routine lubrication of machine as per schedule.

Check the availability of all required Tools and test Equipment.

During PMI, any abnormality found informed to Shift in charge/Foreman.

Inform concerned authorities for any abnormalities during the shift.

Any Training required informed to concerned authorities.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
