Senior Technician - Creative

Collaborate with the creative team to design, develop, and implement innovative attractions and entertainment experiences.

Translate creative concepts into practical execution by managing the technical aspects of project development.

Oversee the installation and maintenance of creative elements, including scenic designs, lighting, audio, and visual effects.

Ensure all installations adhere to safety standards and operational guidelines, performing safety checks and assessments regularly.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during performances, events, or daily operations.

Maintain detailed documentation of all creative projects, including specifications, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with various departments, including operations and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of creative elements into existing attractions.

Provide training and guidance to crew members on creative technologies and systems.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the creative offering of the park.

Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for creative projects.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for new attractions and theming.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

• Technical Diploma or Degree in Theatre Arts, Technical Theatre, Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in a creative technical role, preferably in an amusement park, theatre, or entertainment industry.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of technical systems including lighting, sound, and visual effects.
• Proficient in CAD software and other design tools to create technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
