SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Support sales by offering technical advice and service, as well as in technical documentation and complaint handling. Conduct and track technical training externally using standardized training materials and global standards to ensure correct use of products and accurate technical advice.
This position will report to the Technical Service Manager and will be based in Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical service, guidance, and advice to customers by regular visits to applicator’s facilities to ensure proper application of products.
- Support the local sales team in increasing sales growth and market share by establishing Jotun products for new customers or introducing new products to existing customers.
- Assist sales personnel by providing relevant documentation and drafting specifications to ensure the right products and solutions are used according to customer expectations.
- Investigate assigned complaints through on-site investigations, follow up with QC and local R&D, analyze root causes, and provide relevant documentation to support conclusions.
- Run customer plant improvement projects by undertaking product development trials at applicators' facilities to ensure benefits from Jotun’s innovation programs.
- Document corrective actions taken from complaint cases to limit recurrence and Jotun’s risk exposure.
- Conduct professional applicator plant audits and training to ensure adherence to specified quality standards in application and product specifications.
- Conduct customer plant improvement projects by undertaking product development trials at applicators' facilities, ensuring customers benefit from Jotun's innovative products.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- Experience in the General Industrial Paints & Coatings industry
- 3 years of work experience, preferably in technical services
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite
