We are seeking an experienced and strategic senior supply chain specialist to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain processes. The senior supply chain specialist will play a critical role in ensuring efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in the supply chain, from procurement to distribution. The ideal candidate should have extensive supply chain management experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to implement process improvements. Key responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supply chain considerations into overall business strategies.
  3. Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.
  6. Monitor and analyze inventory performance, making data-driven adjustments.
  7. Streamline logistics and distribution processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  8. Collaborate with logistics partners and carriers to optimize transportation.
  9. Identify and assess supply chain risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
  10. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  11. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
  12. Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance and areas for improvement.
  13. Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  14. Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  15. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
  16. Evaluate and recommend supply chain management tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • 4+ years experience in senior-level supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
