Senior Structural Designer

Job Description - Senior Structural Designer (AL 03RN) :

Specific Accountabilities :

1. Draw and interpret sketch.
2. Interpret technical drawing.
3. Advanced engineering detail drafting and checking.
4. Create 2D drawings using computer aided design system.
5. Create 3D drawings using computer aided design system.
6. Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks, achieving a good balance between design costs and implementation costs.
7. Work within budget constraints set by Asset Team Leader / Lead Discipline Engineer.

Qualifications :

1. Must have experience in offshore structural design.
2. Proficiency in the use of general computer software such as MS Office.
3. Proficiency in using Microstation software.
4. Proficiency in PDS is preferred but not essential, S3D is a must.
5. Must be well versed with Offshore industry related guidelines, codes and regulations such as API-RP-2A, API-RP-2L, DNV rules, offshore material specifications as per BS, ASTM & Euro.

Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering.
