Senior Specialist, Treasury

Duties & Responsibilities (shall include but not be limited to):

1. Ensures compliance with all Saudi Arabian banking and other associated regulatory requirements.
2. Completes or assists in completing all cash management set-up documentation for new and existing department processes; prepares correspondence and proposals directed to and for cash management.
3. Monitors all cash management operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts and bank relations.
4. Monitors all cash transactions to ensure that all bank accounts balance to the financial statements; and that any unusual items are investigated.
5. Works with Rig Managers, Department Managers, and other relevant groups to accurately forecast timing and amount of future cash flows (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually or as often as necessary).
6. Ensures the availability of liquidity by forecasting and monitoring cash flows (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.) as well as preparing cash flow reports for management, identifying, and evaluating variances.
7. Develops or assists in the development and maintenance of all Banking and Treasury Management Policies, Procedures and associated Internal Controls.
8. Assists in creating, enhancing, and implementing cash management investment strategy in compliance with policy and regulations.
9. Performs other job-related duties assigned by Treasurer.
10. Assists in procuring new bank loan agreements.
11. Assists in managing the company working capital bank products.
12. Assists in managing the debt book of the company.
13. Coordinates the cash forecasting process of the company and assists the department to drive down the working capital cost.
14. Maintains a good track record of reporting and cash forecasting.
15. Manages and monitors liquidity buffer, ensuring that the firm has access to appropriate liquidity at appropriate times.
16. Administrates approved foreign exchange hedging, insurance policies and credit limits.
17. Assists in managing hedge position and debt covenant.
18. Assists in managing short- and medium-term debt facilities.
19. Possesses insurance knowledge including the ability to communicate, negotiate and renew insurance coverages, assess risk exposure and align this with the risk tolerance of the company.
20. Reviews insurance provisions on external contracts and aligns them with the company existing coverages.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s in finance, Accounting or related academic discipline; MBA and/or specialized certificates desirable.
2. CFA enrolled candidate is a plus.
3. CTP certificate or enrolled candidate is a plus.
4. FMVA certificate is a plus.

Skills:

1. Team player with exemplary communication and excellent problem-solving skills.
2. Proficient in intermediate Excel skills such as pivot tables, lookups, data tables, etc. is a plus.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
4. Strong computer and financial modeling skills; strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
5. In-depth knowledge of financial statements & financial statement analysis.
6. Tact and objectivity in interfacing with both management and individuals at lower levels within the Company.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
8. Ability to handle related projects with minimum supervision.
9. Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, models, and legal documents.
10. High attention to detail, highly accurate with numerical calculations.
11. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and lateral thinking skills.
12. Strong SAP/ERP skills and strong command of Banking systems.
