Job Purpose:
The Senior Specialist Retail and E-Commerce will support the Senior Manager in the development, execution, and optimization of retail solutions and e-commerce logistics for the company. This role will focus on managing day-to-day activities related to retail supply within tourism destinations (such as hotels, resorts) and assisting in last-mile logistics solutions for e-commerce parcel deliveries to RSG sites. The Senior Specialist will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and clients to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery in both retail and logistics functions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Retail Solutions Development:
- Assist in the development and execution of retail solutions for a diverse range of retail operations within tourism destinations, such as supermarkets, fashion stores, beachwear shops, souvenir outlets, and more.
- Support the management of relationships with key retail brands and suppliers in collaboration with sourcing team, spanning luxury goods to everyday consumer products (F&B, textiles, souvenirs, groceries, etc.).
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and contribute to the design of tailored retail solutions.
- Provide support in managing key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
- E-Commerce & Logistics Solutions:
- Help design and implement logistics solutions for managing e-commerce flows, including receiving and delivering employee parcels from major e-retailers like Amazon to sites and other employee locations.
- Support efforts to optimize last-mile logistics systems, improving delivery times, reducing costs, and enhancing the employee experience.
- Work with warehousing and transport teams to assist in the establishment of efficient warehousing models and support the logistics of timely deliveries to employees across multiple sites.
- Business Strategy & Growth:
- Assist in identifying and developing new opportunities within retail and e-commerce logistics to support the company's strategic growth.
- Help prepare business plans, financial forecasts, and budgets related to retail and logistics services.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and the smooth execution of retail and logistics projects.
- Contribute to fostering a culture of collaboration across departments, including Business Development, Warehousing, Transport, Sourcing & Purchasing, Sales, Pricing, Import/Export teams, IT, System to drive successful outcomes.
- Support internal communication efforts and contribute to a high-performance team culture.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Assist in the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of retail and logistics operations.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key business developments, challenges, and opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail operations, e-commerce logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or logistics sectors is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail supply chains, inventory management, and logistics operations (especially e-commerce last-mile delivery).
- Project Management: Ability to support the management of retail and logistics projects with attention to detail and organization.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and propose effective solutions to operational challenges.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams effectively.
