SummaryThis position is responsible for developing and maintaining the sales strategy for Saudi Arabia and driving all commercial pursuits in the country.
Job Responsibilities- Sales Support Process and Procedures
- Develop close relationships with other functions (Engineering, Product Management, DLS, etc.) to ensure that changes to the organization are recognized and implemented.
- Ensure that all necessary Sales Support processes are efficiently implemented.
- Business development and Sales Strategy
- Generate new commercial opportunities in currently served and unserved markets.
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop future growth plans for the organization.
- Build, implement, and own mid/long-term planning cycle process within HMH.
- Work closely with all stakeholders within HMH to develop go-to-market strategies for all HMH products and services.
- Support regional teams in the creation of business cases as needed.
- Manage and review the progress of process and strategy implementation across the entire organization.
- Establish and maintain beneficial business relationships with senior leaders internal/external organizations.
- Ensure HMH has an active industry presence within Saudi Arabia.
- Sales Leadership: Manage all existing accounts and opportunities in Saudi.
- Build, manage, and develop the sales team, in accordance with regional strategies and KPIs.
- Own the country’s Sales budget (total costs).
- Sales Forecasting: Provide input to develop the sales forecasts.
- Business Planning: Own the country’s forecast and operating rhythm, aligning sales team opportunities with HMH capacity and capability.
- Communicate the performance and progress to senior leadership through periodic status reports and presentations.
- Provide leadership to managers and professional staff.
- Be accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.
- Develop departmental plans, including business, production, and/or organizational priorities.
- Make decisions guided by resource availability and organizational objectives.
- Apply knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance.
- Identify and solve complex operational and organizational problems leveraging the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales/technical/commercial role or in Operations role.
- Proven experience in a Technical/Commercial Operations role, within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Extensive knowledge of both land and offshore drilling markets required.
- Travel is required.
