Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide cost management and quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project completion.
2. Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
3. Monitor progress, assess variations, and provide cost control recommendations.
4. Perform value engineering exercises and cost analysis to ensure optimal project outcomes.
5. Manage and report on project costs, including tracking expenditure, identifying risks, and advising on cost.
6. Assist in dispute resolution and claims management, ensuring compliance with contracts and legislation.
7. Provide expert advice on contract interpretation, variations, and claims management.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Education & Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
3. Preferred infrastructure experience.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
