We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our ongoing Theme Park PMC projects in Dammam, Khobar and Al Ahsa in Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved

• Develop accurate cost estimates for theme park projects, including rides, attractions, landscaping, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate tenders and proposals from contractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
• Administer and manage construction contracts, ensuring contractors meet their obligations and deliver quality workmanship.
• Identify potential risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them, ensuring project timelines and budgets are not compromised.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising project quality.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quantity surveying reports, cost reports, and progress assessments.
• Create and manage budgets for theme park developments, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying cost variations and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and resolving any issues promptly.
• Ensure that all construction work meets quality standards and is in compliance with relevant regulations and codes.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in theme parks, entertainment or sporting event projects will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying practices and construction cost management.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and applications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Professional accreditation or certification in Quantity Surveying is a plus.
