Senior Project Engineer - Oil & Gas

Eram Talent is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Project Engineer - Oil & Gas to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer - Oil & Gas, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects in the oil and gas industry. You shall supervise and execute the design activities for the unconventional resources projects to ensure a safe, operable, and economic design within the framework of the project budget, material requirements, specifications, and schedule. The candidate shall also provide professional advice and guidance regarding civil design with cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates preparation of the project proposal including development and analysis of alternates.
• Ensure that designs meet Saudi Aramco standards and specifications and that alternate designs or changes are economical, operable, and meet safety, maintenance, and schedule requirements.
• Responsible for compliance to project controls and administration guidelines/procedures including those related to cost control and forecasting, planning and scheduling, contract administration, and materials control during project execution.
• Supervises and coordinates planning to adjust to unanticipated changes in scope, materials, equipment delivery, and cost.
• Provides expert advice and assistance to the Unconventional resources, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his area of expertise.
• Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potential problems and remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical issues, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.
• Evaluates and introduces best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Unconventional resources achieve Best in Class positions.
• Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to the Unconventional Resources. Acts as the department representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his field of experience.
• Acts as a professional mentor to less senior specialists and engineers.
