Havelock One Interiors is looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KSA.


Background

Consequently, the ideal candidate for the Senior Procurement Officer position shall be flexible and adaptable. Role Summary

To manage the day-to-day logistics operations by handling timely procurement, delivery of high-quality cost-effective products along with processing of assigned customer orders.


Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  2. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  3. Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
  4. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
  5. Process purchase requisitions/orders within purchasing authority.
  6. Invite, assess, award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
  7. Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers.
  8. Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
  9. Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine documents.
  10. Assist in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased.
  11. Administer contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance.
  12. Reconcile or resolve value discrepancies.
  13. Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices.
  14. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and management.

Personal qualities

We are looking for a versatile Senior Procurement Officer in KSA who has the following experience, skills, and personal attributes:


  1. Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  3. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within the procurement field, preferably in the field of fit-out construction or joinery manufacturing industries.
  4. Problem Solving Skills.
  5. Teamwork Skills.
  6. Negotiation Skills.
  7. Networking Skills.
  8. Computer Skills such as Microsoft Office.
