Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Procurement Engineer with expertise in technology and supply chain management to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Your ability to negotiate effectively, build strong relationships with suppliers, and develop a reliable supply chain will be instrumental in ensuring the cost-effective and timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
2. Conduct market research, analyze supplier capabilities, and identify potential sources for technology products and services.
3. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
5. Develop and manage a robust and reliable supply chain to support operational requirements.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering, and project management, to ensure alignment and effective procurement processes.
7. Analyze and mitigate supply chain risks, implementing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies as needed.
8. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing issues and driving continuous improvement.
9. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
10. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on procurement-related matters to internal stakeholders.

• Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role, with a focus on technology products and services.
3. Proven expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
4. Strong understanding of financial principles, cost analysis, and budgeting.
5. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms).
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

• Additional Details:

1. Certification in procurement, supply chain management, or project management (e.g., CPSM, CPPM, PMP) is highly desirable.
2. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects is preferred.
3. Proficiency in Arabic language is an added advantage.
