Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and implementing procurement policies, with expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and managing online subscription tools and licenses, particularly for AI and consulting companies. The Senior Procurement Specialist will play a key role in streamlining procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies and procedures in alignment with company goals, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and service providers, focusing on subscription tools, AI platforms, software licenses, and consulting services. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
Subscription Tools & Licenses: Manage the procurement of online subscription tools, software, and licenses for AI applications, platforms, and consulting services. Ensure proper licensing compliance and renewal processes.
Market Research & Sourcing: Conduct market research to identify new vendors, assess competitive pricing, and stay informed about industry trends in AI and consulting. Lead sourcing activities for the acquisition of new technologies and services.
Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead negotiations with vendors for procurement of software, tools, and consulting services, ensuring the best value for the company. Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring clarity and legal compliance.
Budget Management & Reporting: Assist in the development of procurement budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to management on procurement activities, cost savings, and process improvements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including IT, legal, finance, and operations, to align procurement activities with organizational goals. Advise on procurement strategies and optimize the sourcing process.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify potential risks and work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4-5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on subscription tools, software licensing, and consulting services. Experience in AI-related tools and services is highly desirable.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Professional procurement certification (Odoo, Oracle) is a plus.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor relations.
Expertise in managing software licenses, subscriptions, and AI tools.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement software or tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Additional Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (Coupa) is a plus.
Knowledge of AI technologies and platforms is advantageous.
