Purpose of the Role: To oversee and optimize complex logistics operations, seamlessly integrating manual and technology-driven processes to ensure business continuity, efficiency, and exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee End-to-End Operations: Manage warehousing, transportation, and delivery processes to ensure integration across logistics functions and maximize operational efficiency.
- Enhance Resource Productivity: Monitor labor, equipment, and transport utilization to maximize output and reduce idle time while maintaining cost-effectiveness and service level.
- Ensure Operational Plan Alignment: Monitor and drive the execution of AOP at the ground level, ensuring alignment with planned operational targets and addressing the gaps.
- Enforce Policy and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure complete adherence to compliance requirements, including FHS, SFDA, customs regulations, and all applicable industry standards, while consistently improving regulatory compliance benchmarks.
- Drive Operational Efficiency: Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies, ensure operational efficiency, align with agreed service levels, and control costs by implementing lean practices and streamlining processes for maximum resource utilization.
- Asset Utilization: Ensure optimal deployment and utilization of labor, MHE, vehicles, and other equipment, focusing on Labor Utilization Rate (LUR), overall equipment efficiency (OEE), and vehicle utilization.
- Oversee Maintenance Operational Assets: Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all equipment and fleets to ensure operational continuity.
- Deliver Exceptional Service Levels: Maintain and improve service levels by adhering to the 7 Rs of logistics operations, while focusing on timely deliveries, order accuracy, and responsiveness to meet or exceed customer expectation.
Stakeholders: External Clients, Suppliers, Govt. Authorities in Transport, Labor, Compliance Departments; Internal Procurement & Accounts
Qualification: Engineer or Supply Chain Graduate
Experience: 5-8 years in 3PL, Contract Logistics or Client site
Age: Not more than 30 years
Skill Set: Excel, Data Analytics, WMS, TMS
Language: English + Mother tongue Preferred
Qualities: Multitasking, Excellent communication skills, Quick learner
Travel: 5% to 10%
