Description:

Senior Associate who will be responsible for the below job duties including support for Perimeter Services (Firewalls, Proxies, and IDS), DDI, SDWAN, and Web Application Protection with a focus on Perimeter Services:

• Lead in the maintenance and configuration of next generation firewall infrastructure.
• Recommend, implement, and deliver technology solutions based on analysis and business requirements.
• Participate in planning, hardware resource availability and the development and or introduction of new applications and services.
• Create and maintain standards documentation for deployment, maintenance, monitoring and daily operations.
• Participate in the design and development of services and tools focusing on automation and orchestration.
• Participate in device migrations and deployments.
• Work with the SME and Engineering functions to design and implement solutions.
• Participate in the resolution of critical major incidents.
• Participate in Technical training and mentoring other members of the global team.
• Respond to, resolve, and close DNS, DHCP, IP (DDI) requests for the territory, operating DDI tooling, including DHCP reservations, DNS resource record management, and IP address management.
• Troubleshoot DNS and DHCP network issues through resolution.

Qualifications

• Certification(s) Preferred: CCNP, CISSP, Palo Alto, PCNSA or PCNSE
• Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
• Troubleshooting and resolution of complex network security incidents, including packet capture and analysis, log review, and critical thinking.
• Building/deploying/configuring/managing firewalls in an enterprise level environment.
• Experience in networking and firewalls.
• Specialist level experience with Palo Alto administration and the design and implementation of industry leading practices.
• Solving complex technical problems through engineering, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, and testing.
• Security Risk Assessment for firewall rule implementations.
• Knowledge of Azure NSG, Load Balancer, UDR configuration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding security technology operational industry standards.
• Contributing to a central technology service organization.
• Navigating a matrix organization and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across functional and technical skill sets.

Requirements:

• Experience with the following:
• Troubleshooting: TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Unified Communications
• Layer 2 Technologies: STP, vPC, SPAN, VxLAN
• Layer 3 Technologies: QoS, MPLS, OSPF, BGP
• Security Technologies: IPsec, Next-Gen Firewall
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
• Experience in Web Application Protection (WAP), networking and firewalls.
• Education: A four-year formal university degree (engineering faculties related to electronics, computers, communication)
• Total work experience: +4 Years
