Job Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans specifically tailored for MEP systems in compliance with Saudi project standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of installation work to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with MEP contractors to address quality-related issues promptly and effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Review and approve all MEP-related materials and submittals, ensuring they meet both local and international standards.
• Lead root cause analysis for any quality failures, providing actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence in future projects.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all quality control activities including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken.
• Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff, enhancing their skills in MEP quality assurance and control processes.
• Coordinate with project management teams to align quality objectives with project timelines and deliverables.
• Implement quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations specific to the Saudi construction industry.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders on quality-related matters, ensuring transparency and trust in project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a strong focus on MEP systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the Saudi Arabian market.
• Certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, Six Sigma, or other quality management certifications are highly desirable.
• Experience working with major MEP contractors and knowledge of local codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage for effective communication on-site.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset to identify potential quality issues before they escalate.
• Excellent leadership abilities to manage QA/QC teams and influence stakeholders positively towards quality objectives.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing quality awareness among project teams.
• Proficient in using QA/QC software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and specialized inspection management systems.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving, with strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
