Responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and testing mechanical devices and systems.
Functional Responsibilities:
Develop mechanical systems designs for construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Create mechanical components and systems.
Oversee mechanical construction activities, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop technical solutions and strategies in project management, construction management, and mechanical engineering.
Work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Maintain design documentation, files, and records; prepare technical reports using applicable software systems and procedures.
Register and monitor risks and escalate critical issues.
Ensure accuracy and accountability in coding, editing, and writing reports, letters, and memos.
Assist with training staff on the use of various software programs.
Assist with budgeting and scheduling.
Procure goods and services, including vendors and consultants.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Develop project standards and templates.
Create plans and schedules to complete a project effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering field.
Extensive experience in the field and proficiency in CAD software.
