The Senior Manager is responsible for leading the execution of the company strategic priorities mapped to the country. He /she acts as an independent transformation enabler and may manage strategic, cross-functional programs and projects in the country. This includes working collaboratively with the transformation and leadership teams at corporate and country level in achieving the strategic priorities, identifying short-term improvement and long-term value creation opportunities.
ROLE PROFILE
Collaborate actively with the Strategic Planning team to define and continuously enhance the country strategy and operating plans of the different functions.
Translate the country strategic plan into actionable and quantitative execution plans in alignment with Retail overall business strategy, to design and shape the transformation agenda.
Define effective and sustainable delivery milestones of the strategic transformational programs, maintaining high standards of program management, capturing and sharing best practices.
Develop with Corporate Transformation office relevant program/project-specific metrics, scorecards, risks and issues analysis to report on progress and impact on a continuous basis to the country leadership teams and create reports on progress.
Manage the performance reviews of the transformational programs and respective impact.
Identify and contribute to the development of best practices in the country, capturing learnings from both within as well as externally by always staying abreast of the industry and the competition and prepare monthly/quarterly updates to the community.
Promote cross functional collaboration, ensuring a healthy work environment.
Execute the company performance management process by setting objectives, monitoring performance and providing constructive feedback.
Requirements
10+ years experience in a multi-national and large corporate environment and/or top-tier consultancy.
5+ years in omni-channel retail preferred.
Deep experience in program and project management, strategy planning and business development.
Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communicator, comfortable preparing reports, presentations and speaking in front of groups.
