ROLE OVERVIEW
This role will be pivotal in overseeing and enhancing the array of technological systems that are fundamental to hotel operations. The candidate will be responsible for the oversight of Hotel Operating Systems project, including but not exclusively, PMS testing, Hotel Operating Systems, Customer Facing Systems, etc.
The candidate will collaborate with other developments including Distribution, reservation platforms, and various other technologies critical to facilitating efficient guest services, maintenance, and administrative tasks, among others.
The role will ensure the smooth integration and optimal functioning of those to optimize guest experience and support efficient operation of hotels.
REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY
Technical Skills
- Familiarity and experience with large scale web development
- Experience with large multi-site complex IP network design, implementation and management
- Experience with development and deployment of integrated digital hotel room systems (room-controls, TV/VoD, BYOD, IP Telephony, Tablet, MDM)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 / Google Docs
- Experience with mobile operating systems: Android, iOS
- Familiarity with cloud system principles and best practices and experience of operating in a complex SaaS system environment
Hospitality Skills
- A well-rounded understanding and working knowledge of hotel operations and experience of the standard systems employed: Hotel Property Management, Point-of-Sales Systems, Payment
ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES
The Supplemental Manpower Process Manager responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
IT Operations and Operational systems
- Develops all operational systems across the various NEOM Hotels
- Ensures that annual budgets are developed and managed
- Produces Quarterly expenditure forecasts
- Assesses and anticipates technology projects and recommends appropriate action and resources, including hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of hotel operating systems, including PMS, POS, and other critical software.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure that system functionalities meet the operational needs of the hotel.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with the IT team on cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive guest and company data.
- Stay abreast of technology trends in the hospitality industry, recommending innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Digital
- Ensures a broad digital presence including Web, Tablet and Mobile, brand marketing and operational line-of-business store fronts.
Hotel Based Technology
- All digital room systems and hotel public-area AV
- Ensures compliance to any mandated brand standards
- Plan and manage the opening of new hotels
Networks and Security
- Is responsible for the development and performance of Corporate and Hotel Networks
- Develops and implements a security policy to meet or exceed PCI and Customer PII protection requirements
- Ensures that NEOM Hotel Division is compliant with privacy and other relevant legislation pertaining to use and storage of computer-based Information
Help Desk
- Ensures the provision of Help Desk and incident support and response
- Collaborates with service partners to ensure the continuity and companywide integration of all systems, applications, and data consistent with the company’s IT mission.
Compliance and Procurement
- Ensures that all purchasing, procurement, legal and contracting processes are compliant with NEOM policy
- Develops IT policies and preferred supplier relationships
- Negotiates contracts, pricing, and discounts
- Prioritizes IT initiatives and develops appropriate justifications along with supporting a detailed definition of capital investments, data requirements, and affected departmental processes.
