To act as a bridge between the IT department and business units, ensuring the effective alignment of technology solutions with the institution's educational and operational objectives.
The IT Business Analyst will analyze and collect requirements, write BRD, capture AS-IS, validate the feasibility and recommend innovative solutions, and support the successful implementation of IT projects that enhance academic and administrative processes.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IT projects.
Identify and evaluate technology solutions that meet the institution's needs and align with strategic goals.
Create detailed functional specifications, process workflows, and system design documents for IT solutions.
Support the implementation of IT systems by coordinating with developers, testers, and other team members.
Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and functionalities.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented IT solutions to ensure they meet business objectives.
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate clear communication.
Develop and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior management.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in IT to suggest innovative solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably in the education sector or enterprise portal development and improvement.
Strong understanding of business processes and how they align with IT systems.
Proficiency in business analysis tools, project management software, and data visualization platforms.
Experience with the Public Sector, ERP systems and educational technologies is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Fluency in Arabic is mandatory, with strong proficiency in English highly preferred.
