Responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of information technology solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology to support IRTI in promoting its business in knowledge management.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic & Operational Planning
Support the strategic direction of the Institute by executing assigned projects and initiatives.
Contribute to the annual work plan and budgeting exercise of the Institute.
Assess resource requirements for the proposed projects and get management’s approval for the same.
Information Systems Design And Implementation
Design, test and implement business and technical information technology solutions through the application of appropriate software development life cycle methodology.
Manage information solutions projects and coordinate with vendors and service providers for RFPs, quotations, specifications, and implementation of the projects.
Participate in standard business and technical information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
Use appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and/or technical problems.
Technically lead the projects for installation/implementation of solutions ensuring integration of the solution with related components.
Administer and maintain the IRTI portal, e-book reader app, CRM, and all other systems used by IRTI.
Ensure smooth operation of the Information Systems and oversee troubleshooting problems.
Social Media Applications
Develop or oversee the development of social media applications for different platforms like Android, Apple etc. to broaden the channels through which IRTI can reach its targeted audience.
Oversee the utilization of social media tools and channels to communicate the relevant information with the targeted audience.
Knowledge Sharing & Innovation
Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices and adopt them in IRTI.
Share knowledge on effective use of information solutions tools.
Share knowledge on Fintech and Disruptive Technology.
Apply innovative approaches through technology and social media to engage target audience.
Reporting & Communication
Create reporting systems and undertake analytics and business intelligence activities.
Provide management with independent inputs regarding all aspects of the Information Solutions as a means of helping conduct business efficiently.
Academic And Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
Certification in SharePoint, database administration, and project management.
Certification in relevant programming languages like Python, JAVA, PHP, and ASP.NET.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the design, development, testing and implementation of information technology solutions, preferably in research and/or knowledge products industry.
