The Senior Engineer (Specifications) role involves providing technical support and guidance to peers in the Engineering Department, promoting technical adequacy and quality of project designs.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing technical specifications, design codes, and engineering standards.
2. Preparing technical guide specifications.
3. Providing technical advice and guidance to Management.
4. Preparing technical correspondence, reports, and studies.
5. Maintaining knowledge of new developments in the section.
6. Preparing presentations to Senior Management on technical issues related to standards and codes of practice.
7. Liaising with other RC Cities management and technical teams on unified engineering standards.
8. Arranging technical interdisciplinary consultations to review and improve RC processes.
9. Representing the Section at project and inter-sectional meetings.
10. Performing other wider duties and responsibilities as required by the PTS Supervisor.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and construction standards.
4. Excellent technical knowledge, communication skills, and interpersonal abilities.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Adaptability to new methodologies and technologies.
7. Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
8. Computer literacy in MS Office applications.

The Senior Engineer will report to the Manager of Planning and Technical Specifications and PTS Supervisor, and will interact with other disciplines in the Engineering Department and other RC Departments as needed.
