Senior Electrical Engineer (Rail/Metro)

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in major infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail/metro industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and/or supervising the construction of railway maintenance facilities and associated infrastructure. This role emphasizes electrical engineering expertise in the context of large-scale railway operations, with a particular focus on ensuring that maintenance facilities are well-integrated into the broader railway system

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to define electrical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Select appropriate electrical equipment and materials.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate electrical systems with overall project design.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Perform regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the electrical systems meet the required specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for electrical design options.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Skills/Experience

• Bachelor&aposs / Master&aposs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in major infrastructure projects preferably in the railway industry for building technologies with emphasis on maintenance facilities as part of a supervision or design team.
• Deep knowledge of electrical design principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
• Strong understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Should have completed at least one design-build transit project within the last 10 years
• Have work experience in Saudi Arabia or another GCC country
• Experience in leading and coordinating project teams.
• Hold a professional registration in engineering.
