Title: Senior Electrical Engineer (PMC)

KBR, Saudi is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in PMC, proven experience in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To have single-point responsibility for all electrical engineering detail design deliverables, procurement & construction support phases and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures.
2. Engineering Support: Documents & drawings review, Support during change order review, Response to TQ, Review shop drawings, Provide estimate for scope changes, Revise impacted IFC drawings.
3. Construction Management Support: Review of contractor's construction documents (e.g. Quality plan, Safety plans, Lifting plan, Construction execution plans, etc.) and provide site support such as progress verification and construction site supervision.
4. Procurement support: Provide responses to all TQ’s related to procurement support, Sub contracts, Review MR’s, TBE’s, PO’s, NMR’s, Shop drawings, Field site inspections, etc.
5. Manage and report progress of all Electrical engineering and design budgets in line with contract requirements.
6. Manage engineering and design resource requirements in line with contract requirements.
7. Ensure compliance with management of change processes both technical and financial.
8. Provide direction and guidance on technical queries relating to electrical engineering and raise appropriate deviations.
9. Participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary.
10. Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
11. Promote safe behavior at all times.
12. Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
13. Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up.
14. Provide technical support to site in terms of material inspection, Factory Acceptance Testing etc.
15. Assist in the coordination of all activities related to electrical systems.
16. Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
17. Attend weekly progress meetings and generate status reports for the Engineering/Project Manager.
18. Promote and encourage smarter ways of working and champion continuous improvement within your department.
19. Ensure all lessons learnt are captured and shared.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelors of Engineering/Science in Electrical and Electronics engineering.

Key Skills & Technical Competencies:

• 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Must be familiar with Saudi Aramco standards.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in similar role with PMC.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of electrical system design and analysis. Wide knowledge of codes & industry standards IEEE, NFPA, API, IEC, ANSI/NEMA.
• Thorough awareness of international codes and standards.
• Familiar with the typical software packages that are used for electrical system design and selection including ETAP, HAZOP and SIL Classification studies.
