Senior Design Manager - Hotel (ENT639)

Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of developing exceptional entertainment and leisure destinations. We are seeking a Design Manager - Hotel to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and development of high-end hotel projects, fostering innovative designs that elevate guest experiences. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hotel design, a strong leadership presence, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process for hotel projects, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's vision and operational standards.
• Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other consultants to achieve cohesive and complementary design outcomes.
• Prepare and present design concepts, schematics, and detailed proposals to stakeholders and management.
• Assess and review all design submissions, ensuring adherence to industry trends, best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with project teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure design objectives are met.
• Monitor design progress and align project timelines with operational requirements and budget constraints.
• Stay updated with trends in hospitality design and implement innovative concepts that enhance the overall guest experience.
• Mentor junior design staff, fostering a creative and collaborative working environment.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 9-12 years of relevant professional experience in hotel design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Experience in design management with high-end hospitality assets is preferred.
• Deep understanding of design processes and methods from concept to implementation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in architectural and design software.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive results and manage teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in hotel design is a plus.
