AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Design Manager (Structural / Civil) to be based on NEOM The LINE Site.

1. Job Purpose:

1. NEOM-the Line programme aims to challenge the “status-quo” by delivering meaningful change, making NEOM a world-class leader in various areas.
2. The marina modules serve as a showcase of the NEOM-the Line programme.
3. The Senior Design Manager plays a key role in the Module Integration team at module/package level within the overall Design Management Level.
4. Packages of scope will be designated by the Module Design Director/Lead Design Director, focusing on both standard and bespoke packages within the Marina modules.
5. Champion legacy knowledge transfer by mentoring designated Saudi nationals.

Reports to: Module Design Director (MDD) or Lead Design Director (LDD)

3. Role Of Department

Delivery of the Marina Modules – end to end responsibility for schedule, cost, and quality from Design Stage 3A to handover.

4. Responsibilities

1. Manage the Design Consultants in their delivery of the design package for the Early Works Package for the Marina Modules.
2. Review the Design Packages issued by the Design Consultants to ensure compliance with the SOW.
3. Ensure coordination between the EWP Teams and Design Consultants to resolve issues.
4. Ensure timely delivery of design packages for construction.
5. Organize coordination between EWP Team and Construction team to resolve issues.
6. Ensure periodic reporting to the Module Delivery Team.
7. Participate in multi-disciplinary coordination workshops.
8. Line Management Duties for the team directly reporting to Senior Design Management.

5. Required Criteria

Key Skills

1. 22 years of experience in major projects (design and build) at a complex project management level.
2. Preferably a Chartered Structural / Civil Engineer and/or Project Management accreditation.
3. Previous experience in seismic and earthquake engineering.
4. Strong experience in project delivery coordination.
5. Integration and package management experience.
6. Complex stakeholder and interface management experience.
7. Ability to operate in fast-paced environments while maintaining clear decision-making.
8. Able to process schedule requirements and analyze multi-layered construction schedules.
9. Conflict Management and Decision Quality skills.
10. Clear Direction in defining and prioritizing objectives.
