We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Data Scientist with a robust background in technology, especially in AI, DataOps, and most importantly, computer vision. This role demands a creative individual capable of developing innovative computer vision models and algorithms from scratch, adept at applying complex technical concepts to real-world problems. Your deep expertise in computer vision will play a crucial role in accelerating our path to market, shaping the future of our platform, and driving engagement with our upcoming product release.

What you’ll be doing

1. Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge computer vision models and algorithms to solve complex problems, including but not limited to object detection, image recognition, and predictive maintenance for equipment.
2. Collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and technical teams to integrate computer vision solutions that significantly enhance our AI/DataOps platform’s value proposition to businesses.
3. Drive data science projects from conception to delivery, focusing on computer vision applications, ensuring adherence to deadlines, data quality, and model effectiveness.
4. Conduct in-depth research on the latest computer vision techniques and innovations to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of AI technology.
5. Translate complex computer vision findings into actionable insights, making them accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Optimize computer vision models for scalability and efficiency, ensuring they align with business goals and customer needs.

What you’ll need

1. Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
2. Proven track record of 8+ years in data science, machine learning, and deep learning, with a focus on computer vision and/or graph neural networks.
3. Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in popular libraries/frameworks for machine learning and deep learning (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
4. Experience with computer vision libraries and tools (e.g., OpenCV, CUDA) for image processing and analysis.
5. Solid understanding of graph theory, graph algorithms, and graph-based data structures.
6. Hands-on experience with graph neural networks, graph convolutional networks (GCNs), and related techniques for graph-based machine learning.

The job is hybrid – you will work from Dhahran a few times per month.
