We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Data Scientist with a robust background in technology, especially in AI, DataOps, and most importantly, computer vision. This role demands a creative individual capable of developing innovative computer vision models and algorithms from scratch, adept at applying complex technical concepts to real-world problems. Your deep expertise in computer vision will play a crucial role in accelerating our path to market, shaping the future of our platform, and driving engagement with our upcoming product release.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge computer vision models and algorithms to solve complex problems, including but not limited to object detection, image recognition, and predictive maintenance for equipment.
- Collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and technical teams to integrate computer vision solutions that significantly enhance our AI/DataOps platform’s value proposition to businesses.
- Drive data science projects from conception to delivery, focusing on computer vision applications, ensuring adherence to deadlines, data quality, and model effectiveness.
- Conduct in-depth research on the latest computer vision techniques and innovations to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of AI technology.
- Translate complex computer vision findings into actionable insights, making them accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Optimize computer vision models for scalability and efficiency, ensuring they align with business goals and customer needs.
What you’ll need
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven track record of 8+ years in data science, machine learning, and deep learning, with a focus on computer vision and/or graph neural networks.
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in popular libraries/frameworks for machine learning and deep learning (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with computer vision libraries and tools (e.g., OpenCV, CUDA) for image processing and analysis.
- Solid understanding of graph theory, graph algorithms, and graph-based data structures.
- Hands-on experience with graph neural networks, graph convolutional networks (GCNs), and related techniques for graph-based machine learning.
