Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team in Riyadh. This role will involve applying statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques to solve complex strategic and tactical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on computer vision, driving data science projects from conception to delivery, and working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into real-world operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge computer vision models and algorithms to solve complex problems such as object detection, image recognition, and predictive maintenance.
2. Oversee a high-performing Data Science, Reporting, and Business Analysis team, providing vision, guidance, and mentorship.
3. Collaborate with product, marketing, and technical teams to enhance our AI/DataOps platform through innovative data science solutions.
4. Conduct in-depth research on the latest computer vision techniques and innovations, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of AI technology.
5. Compile, evaluate, and analyze data to improve operational processes, quality, and efficiency.
6. Translate complex data findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Optimize computer vision models for scalability and efficiency, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
8. Act as a liaison between operational groups and client stakeholders, driving alignment and transparency across key projects.
9. Develop and maintain consistent reporting structures, delivering regular data, reports, and analysis to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on computer vision.
3. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and R.
4. Experience with cloud-based DBMS (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon RDS, MongoDB).
5. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
6. In-depth understanding of AI, DataOps, and analytics trends and technologies.
7. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
