Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Commercial Manager to join our team! In this role, you will get to work at the forefront of one of the most transformative projects in Saudi Arabia's history.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Manage a small team of Commercial / Contracts Administrators and Managers.
  2. Continuous Improvement of the team, processes/procedures, documentation, etc.
  3. Contract Review: Reviewing contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. Contract Drafting: Drafting contracts, including terms and conditions, scope of work, deliverables.
  5. Document Management: Maintaining accurate and organized contract documentation, including contracts, amendments, correspondence, and other related documents.
  6. Knowledge Management: Staying informed about changes in contract law, regulations, and industry best practices, and sharing knowledge with colleagues as needed.
  7. Training and Development: Providing training and guidance to team members on contract management processes, procedures, and best practices.
  8. Adherence to Local Laws and Regulations: Ensuring that all contracts comply with Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and cultural norms.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in a subject related to Business, Law, or Construction.
  2. A minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant work experience (post qualification) on infrastructure project experience.
  3. Recent experience in a senior role either managing a contracts administration/claims team or quantity surveying team handling major contractual disputes.
  4. Experience with a contractor at a management level or with an engineering consultant or claims consultancy providing consultancy advice on contracts, procurement, and disputes as well as expert witness work.
  5. Proven track record in all stages of the project life cycle from contractual frameworks to cost estimation to site management and cost management through to contract administration and disputes.
  6. Ability to guide staff, critique and challenge objectively and with confidence.
  7. KSA Government Procurement Law contract knowledge.
  8. Experience developing successful relationships at a senior level.
  9. Direct experience interfacing with executive management.
  10. Proven ability to work independently and under pressure, while using good judgment, when making Program related decisions that drive project delivery forward.
  11. Possess the exceptional interpersonal skills required to productively collaborate, negotiate, reach consensus, and finalize project decisions.
  12. Commitment to excellence and possessing high expectations for the position, the PMO and the entire client program.
  13. Ability to maneuver in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
  14. Ability to comfortably and knowledgeably manage throughout all phases of the Program including planning, procurement, design, and construction phases.
  15. Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with Contract Administration.
