Senior Commercial Director

A visionary leader in the development of one of Saudi Arabia's PIF projects is searching for an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Commercial & Reporting for their Transport portfolio.

This critical role will find you responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects and reporting functions of various transportation projects within this major project undertaking. You will ensure that all transportation initiatives align with the company's overall goals and strategies.

As the Senior Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to maximise revenue and optimise operational efficiency. You will also lead the reporting processes to provide insights and support effective decision-making across transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the commercial strategy for transport-related projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Oversee the reporting processes for transportation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to inform commercial decisions and performance improvements.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to capture market share.
• Develop forecasting models to assess potential revenue streams and project profitability related to transport initiatives.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors to foster collaboration and drive successful project outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team in commercial and reporting functions, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantity Surveying or Economics (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in commercial management and reporting, gained within the transportation and/or infrastructure sectors
• Strong knowledge of transportation market dynamics and business development processes
• Proven analytical and financial modelling skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders
• Experience with project management and understanding of compliance requirements is an advantage

This IS NOT a remote post and is suitable for families. You could easily base yourself in Riyadh.

On offer is an attractive tax-free package which would be the equivalent of around 250,000 - 300,000 per annum (inclusive of accommodation and travel). You would also receive bi-annual flights, school fees etc.
