Responsibilities:

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Civil) to join our award-winning team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with local regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to take on leadership responsibilities and make an impact on major infrastructure developments in the region.

  • Leading and managing civil infrastructure projects, including roadworks, drainage systems, utilities, and other essential public infrastructure. Oversee the project life-cycle from concept to completion.
  • Reviewing and providing technical input into infrastructure design, ensuring that all solutions are innovative, practical, and aligned with client requirements and local regulations.
  • Ensuring the delivery of the contracted Design and Construction Management services to the client.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Liaise with local stakeholders and municipal bodies for approvals and compliance.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance to ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is progressing as planned.
  • Identifying potential risks or challenges that could impact project timelines or costs and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Preparing regular progress reports for internal and client use, ensuring clear communication of project status, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to integrate structural systems with overall building designs and ensure coordination across all aspects of the project.
  • Offer technical support to contractors during the construction phase, reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), and resolving design-related issues on-site.
  • Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs for structural work, assist in budgeting, and find cost-effective solutions while maintaining the quality and integrity of the design.
  • Communicate directly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to present design proposals, address concerns, and ensure that all parties are aligned on project objectives and progress.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. Experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects is essential.
