Job Description - Senior Channel Sales Engineer, Himel (KSA, Utility) (009BC3)

Purpose of the job:

The Senior Channel Sales Engineer will act as a Himel Brand ambassador and drive territory revenue. This role involves ownership of the sales territory and dedication to driving long-term success. The ideal candidate should have a strong network in the Electrical Market, project background, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as Utilities, developers, and contractors. The candidate will interact directly with key players, providing technical and commercial support for Himel offers. We seek someone who can significantly impact by building, negotiating, and closing large complex deals, with skills to lead, motivate, and earn the respect of clients.

Job responsibilities:

  1. Achieve personal targets as per assigned KPIs.
  2. Promote Himel products to utilities, developers, and contractors, ensuring a high level of service.
  3. Propose optimized techno-commercial offerings based on Himel's latest product features.
  4. Sustain and develop relationships with all customers and partners.
  5. Implement the marketing and sales strategy for the assigned scope.
  6. Gather project information and build an efficient project pipeline.
  7. Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to secure projects, manage projects to increase sales, and ensure efficiency; prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  8. Maintain market trend awareness in the Electrical project environment, supporting promotions, branding, and events.
  9. Organize quarterly business reviews with partners to create corrective action plans and enhance business understanding.

Qualifications

Essential Professional Experience:

  1. 5-7 years in relevant sales and export roles, especially in utilities.
  2. Project experience with the ability to build strong relationships with utilities and other partners.
  3. Sales background in electrical products and solutions: low voltage electrical products, power distribution, industrial control products, etc.
  4. Demonstrated strong leadership in execution, influencing skills, and strategic initiative development for country sales.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. A wide network of contacts in the Electrical Market.
  2. Good business understanding with LV product knowledge, competitor knowledge, strong technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and customer relationship management.

  1. Ability to be flexible and responsive in a demanding start-up environment.
  2. Good communication and presentation skills.
  3. Motivated and accustomed to performing and meeting quotas.
  4. Strategic view, teamwork, and quick execution with a sense of speed.
  5. Result-oriented with strong interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills.
  6. Willing to work under pressure, accept challenges, and meet commitments.

Education background:

  1. BA/BS degree; Electrical Engineering background is preferred.
