JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

This is a new KSA team that is being established to support the tactical and strategic asset management strategy of Keep on Wing, Keep on Base, Keep in Kingdom through improved maintenance, reliability enhancements, modifications, maintenance policy changes, etc., that will enable us to improve performance (predominantly the aircraft availability KPM’s) and sustain our future SSS Ph4 performance levels.
The Asset Suppression Specialist based in Taif will support the Asset Suppression Team Leader to manage and control an asset whilst in the operational environment is optimised, and where possible identify maintenance and associated solutions, efficiencies and mitigations to reduce individual asset criticality and maintain/increase aircraft availability.
