This is an on-site, contract-based role for a Senior Architectural Engineer in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading architectural design, project execution, and construction coordination, ensuring compliance with Saudi building regulations while integrating engineering and sustainability principles into the design process.
Minimum 11 years of experience in architectural engineering, building design, or construction.
Must be registered and accredited as a "Professional Engineer" by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
Proven track record of successfully completed architectural projects (must provide work samples or portfolio).
Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in industry-leading software: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools etc.
Strong knowledge of Saudi building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
On-site construction experience and coordination with engineering teams.
Strong project management skills to ensure design execution meets deadlines and budget constraints.
Ability to work full-time on-site in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or RMP (Risk Management Professional) certification.
LEED certification or experience in sustainable building design.
Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
Fluency in Arabic and English is an advantage.
