Security Operation Center (SOC) Team Lead

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and providing effective leadership to the SOC team.
2. Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
3. Managing day-to-day SOC operations, ensuring the timely detection, analysis, and response to security incidents.
4. Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the SOC's capabilities.
5. Leading incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to mitigate and remediate security incidents.
6. Developing and maintaining incident response plans and playbooks.
7. Monitoring and analyzing security alerts, responding to and investigating incidents as needed.
8. Conducting post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.
9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
10. Communicating effectively with executive leadership and other stakeholders on cybersecurity matters.
11. Staying abreast of the latest trends and developments in SOC and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR).

Skills Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. The candidate must have extensive experience in incident handling and reporting (at least 4 years in a similar role).
3. Professional certifications related to incident response is preferable.
4. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
5. Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in digital forensics and incident response.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Presentation skills, simplifying complex cybersecurity concerns and issues, and explaining to non-technical teams.
8. Ability to make decisions under pressure and lead a team in a dynamic environment.
9. Able to interact with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
10. Strong reporting skills.
