NATURE & SCOPE

Empowered energetic leader responsible for making Air Products Qudra (APQ) the most secure industrial gases company to work for. This position reports to the HSSEQ Manager (Professional) and provides overall company security leadership to ensure compliance with corporate, local, provincial, and national policies and governmental regulations.

The position will be responsible for promoting security working habits, improving security performance, and implementing company strategies as they relate to security. In addition, the incumbent will assist with planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a wide variety of activities encompassing all aspects of security as well as all programs to assure the highest possible degree of security for our employees and facilities. This position is responsible for:

1. The day-to-day management of security operations at the APQ facility.
2. Reviewing, developing, and publishing processes to ensure the best response to a variety of incident types in collaboration with the Regional Risk, Crisis, and Security Manager in consultation with the Global Security operation center.
3. Ensuring documentation of incidents and preparing reports for global security leadership and other key stakeholders.
4. Investigating and reporting on all security-related incidents as per APQ Security Incident Reporting and Investigation Procedures.
5. Identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs with physical security technology, as well as process improvement.
6. Managing the badge management program in the administration and creation of badges for the network for the MEET region.
7. Supporting the APQ Jubail Industrial Gas Hub, a world-scale reformer (HYCO), a CO2 recovery unit, an Air Separation Facility, and all ancillary equipment associated with the facility.
8. Ensuring the standard and quality of the security function meets the required standards as per the APQ Industrial Security Division (ISD) KPIs.
9. Developing and providing a security performance dashboard to the APQ Plant Manager on a monthly basis.
10. Maintaining awareness of security events, incidents, and developments occurring in the vicinity of the project location, as well as within KSA and the wider Middle East Region.
11. Establishing and maintaining links with the Civil Defence, Police, military, and Royal Commission Industrial Security Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Comply with HCISI Requirements such as:
2. Should be a Saudi National.
3. Ages between 18-45 years.
4. High School certificate is the minimum requirement.
5. Medically fit and able to pass a drug test.

3 - 6 years of experience within a similar role in the public or commercial security industry.

An effective communicator verbally and in writing.

Possess critical thinking skills and can build trust and confidence with frontline workers, supervisors, and management.
