Security Architecture Manager

We are seeking a candidate for the Security Architecture Manager position. Please find below the job description for this position:

Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. The Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing security systems within IT network. The Candidate is expected to have a thorough understanding of complex IT systems and stay up to date with the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.
2. Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security.
3. Establishing disaster recovery procedures and conducting breach of security drills.
4. Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses.
5. Cultivating a culture of security awareness and arranging continuing education of personnel to ensure security policies are always adhered to.
6. Planning, studying and then designing a resistant security architecture for various IT projects.
7. Developing prerequisites for networks, firewalls, routers, and other network devices.
8. Performing vulnerability assessment, security testing, and risk analysis.
9. Researching and implementing the updated security standards, systems, and best practices.

Required Skills & Credentials:

1. Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability.
2. Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
3. A bachelor's or associate's degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
4. Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
5. 5-10 years of experience in information security and IT risk management.
6. A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
7. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
