Job Summary: The Security and Facilitation General Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the organizational unit. This role involves overseeing security protocols, compliance with regulations, crisis response preparation, passenger assistance, stakeholder collaboration, public relations, perimeter security, surveillance systems, and crisis communication.
Job Responsibility:
Develop strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for the organizational unit.
Lead the execution of plans based on the overall organizational strategy.
Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard passengers, staff, aircraft, and airport facilities.
Ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations.
Prepare staff for crisis response situations and emergency scenarios.
Develop procedures for assisting passengers with special needs.
Collaborate with airlines, immigration authorities, and other stakeholders to coordinate security efforts.
Maintain positive public relations by communicating security measures effectively.
Implement measures to secure the airport perimeter and enhance overall security.
Oversee the installation and maintenance of security cameras and surveillance systems.
Establish communication protocols for crisis situations.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Security Management or Aviation Management.
Proven experience in security management, preferably in an aviation or transportation setting.
Strong knowledge of national and international aviation security regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Crisis management experience and training.
Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
