Provide level 2/3 technical support for SAP EWM users, ensuring efficient issue resolution and minimal operational disruption.
Troubleshoot and resolve EWM-related incidents related to inbound/outbound processes, inventory discrepancies, or system performance.
Monitor EWM system performance, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues to maintain operational stability.
Design, configure, and deploy SAP EWM solutions to optimize warehouse operations in compliance with industry's best practices.
Configure warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound logistics, storage handling, inventory management, and task management.
Develop warehouse management strategies for pharmaceutical distribution with regulatory and operational standards in mind.
System Enhancements & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze business requirements and design/implement system changes to optimize warehouse management operations.
Plan, design, configure, and deploy SAP EWM enhancements in coordination with business stakeholders.
Ensure seamless integration of ATTP with EWM and other SAP modules to track serialized product data accurately.
Understand serialization requirements for pharmaceutical supply chains and integrate ATTP to align with regulatory compliance (e.g., SFDA)
Lead change management activities associated with system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Compliance with Industry Standards:
Ensure SAP EWM processes align with pharmaceutical industry compliance and traceability standards (e.g., SFDA, serialization, and other regulatory requirements).
Work closely with the compliance team to identify and implement system updates for changing traceability standards and regulatory changes.
Testing & Validation:
Plan and execute testing for new features, system enhancements, and change requests, including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Collaborate with users to conduct UAT, ensuring changes meet business requirements and operate as expected.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration:
Act as the bridge between IT, operations, and supply chain teams to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and align on changes.
Collaborate with third-party vendors or consulting partners when necessary to resolve system issues or implement enhancements.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all changes, enhancements, and issue resolution processes.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date to support knowledge transfer, audits, and compliance readiness.
Change Management:
Manage changes to EWM systems using formal change management methodologies to ensure minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
Plan and coordinate updates, patches, and enhancements while adhering to organizational governance standards.
Technical Skills
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM configuration, system support, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, including warehouse management business processes.
Familiarity with integration tools/middleware like SAP CPI, IDOCs, or APIs to support supply chain processes and data exchange.
Experience with system performance monitoring, debugging tools, and issue resolution strategies.
Industry Knowledge
Pharmaceutical supply chain expertise with familiarity in warehouse processes, serialization workflows, and traceability compliance.
Understanding of traceability standards like SFDA, or other industry-specific pharma compliance standards.
Functional Skills
Proven experience managing testing strategies (unit testing, regression testing, UAT) for system changes.
Proficiency in incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
