Job Purpose:

To facilitate and deliver field coaching interventions to optimize the effectiveness of the Company Sales Force. Work closely with the Sales Manager and National Sales Manager to address learning needs and provide effective solutions designed to deliver continuing improvement in sales.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Strategic Contribution
    • Executing and managing sales and promotion strategies.
    • Generating new leads and developing existing customers.
    • Assigning sales set goals and recommending training programs for the organization’s sales representatives.
  2. Leadership
    • Leading a team of medical sales representatives and product specialists and coaching them in their respective fields.
    • Training sales and promotion team on sales techniques.
    • Advising the sales representatives on ways to improve their sales performance and promotion skills.
  3. Operational
    • Liaising with the Sales Manager to ensure sales targets are met.
    • Visiting the current marketplace and gathering feedback for market and competitive information.
    • Responding to customer inquiries.
    • Maintaining contact with customers and key account customers.
    • Analyzing sales statistics gathered by their staff to determine sales potential and to monitor customers' preferences.
    • Traveling to different locations to make promotion visits.
    • Maintaining reports.
    • Performing other duties and taking responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine is a must.

Minimum Experience: 4-5 years in sales experience in the animal health market in K.S.A.

Skills: People management, communication skills, negotiation skills, selling skills, and planning and organizing.
