About the Sales Operations Manager (FMCG) Role:

In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest service quality alongside several top management executives. You will also take the lead providing direction to all area sales management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Sales Executives to achieve the sales, distribution and merchandising KPIs for total modern trade
  • Accelerate and champion in-store excellence executions and win on shelves space merchandising over the competition.
  • Work closely with Key Account Planning teams to joint develop business plan to achieve company business objectives, and cascade those plans to trade.
  • Develop sales fundamentals 4Ps across the sales team: maximize stocks availability in stores, minimized OOS, improve in-store planogram and display visibility; ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Route and territory management to ensure stocks availability and forward stock share on par or above market shares.
  • Develop and account for all plans related to sales and distribution objectives (volume, revenue, market share, A&P budgeting, distributions points, share of shelves visibility, activations, product range, product pricing).
  • Be responsible for all the trade operation executions adherence to plans, cascade across the whole sales team.

To succeed in this Sales Operations Manager (FMCG) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/commerce or other relevant degrees
  • At least four years of work experience in FMCG, with people management at sales operations role.
  • A proven track record of strong commercial performance from sales, distributor management, route to market management, presentation skill, account profitability and people management.
  • Route to market strategy management, food service/chill business network is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Can-do attitude, agile, creative, proactive and solutions-minded.
