Reed Recruitment Middle East is currently looking for a Sales Manager for one of the leading providers of IT services and consulting solutions, helping businesses leverage technology for their growth and efficiency. With a focus on delivering tailored solutions in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and IT infrastructure management, they empower clients across industries to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join the growing team.

Purpose of the Role:

The Sales Manager for IT Services and Consulting will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, fostering client relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets. This individual will have a strong understanding of IT services and the ability to communicate complex technological concepts to potential clients. The Sales Manager will work closely with marketing, product, and service delivery teams to develop and execute strategies for business development and client retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development
    • Identify and target potential clients within various industries for IT services and consulting solutions.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and networking.
    • Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives, IT decision-makers, and key stakeholders to drive long-term business partnerships.
    • Conduct high-level conversations with potential clients to understand their business needs and propose tailored IT solutions.
    • Actively seek out new business via cold calling, attending industry events, and leveraging existing networks.
  2. Sales Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and motivation to meet and exceed sales goals.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies, pipeline management, and account targeting.
    • Set clear objectives, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback to ensure growth and development.
    • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on achieving targets and driving company revenue.
  3. Sales Cycle Management
    • Own the end-to-end sales process from initial contact to closing the deal, including negotiating contracts, defining pricing models, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Develop proposals and presentations that articulate the value of our IT services and consulting offerings.
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., solution architects, consultants, project managers) to ensure that proposals and solutions are aligned with client expectations and requirements.
    • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  4. Market Analysis and Strategy
    • Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead of industry changes.
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points, industry challenges, and business objectives to offer relevant IT solutions.
    • Collaborate with the marketing department to develop targeted campaigns and outreach initiatives.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and how they may impact our clients' needs.
  5. Reporting and Forecasting
    • Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline development, and forecast revenue to senior management.
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to aid in decision-making processes.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to executives, highlighting sales metrics and growth opportunities.
  6. Client Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional IT services.
    • Serve as a point of escalation for key client issues or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive client relationships.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure service delivery aligns with expectations and identify opportunities for future business.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling IT services, consulting, or technology solutions to Government Entities or Financial, banking sectors.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT services, including but not limited to cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, IT infrastructure, and software development.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry's competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to convert insights into action.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise-level sales and managing large accounts.
  • Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Prior experience working in a consulting environment or with a professional services firm.

Please note we are looking for a Saudi National for this role and the joining location would be Riyadh.
