Overview

Carrier Commercial Refrigeration is a global leader in providing advanced refrigeration solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We are looking for a Sales Manager for KSA. This role focuses on generating new business for the food retail KSA market and developing and managing our customer relationship. We are looking for a candidate with experience in sales, customer management, and refrigeration that can support our business growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Generate new enquiries in food retail from KSA market.
  2. Manage customer relationships.
  3. Understand annual customer budget.
  4. Achieve individual annual sales targets on new sales.
  5. Analyze Key Account Data (sales and margin per customer) and take or initiate corrective actions if required.
  6. Deliver high-quality quotes in the agreed/expected timeframe to customers.
  7. Regularly visit customers to understand their needs and provide potential solutions/quotes.
  8. Approach new customers proactively to sell Carrier’s new equipment.
  9. Participate in local tenders and local price negotiations.
  10. Initiate and lead sales pitches/price negotiations with high-profile customers.
  11. Fully understand the standard processes, metrics, and KPIs (from revenue to costs and GM).
  12. Possess deep knowledge of Carrier products and industry standards.
  13. Exhibit business judgment - understanding the market situation, customer segment, sales potential, and competition.
  14. Understand customer needs, listen, and provide expected services - aligned with financial targets.
  15. Deliver positive results in the agreed timeframe.
  16. Conduct business development activities for account management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
  17. Lead bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses, and negotiate with potential customers.
  18. Develop and promote new customer contact leads for the sales business development team. Create customer presentations for specific customer needs.
  19. Proactively support and develop prospective projects with assigned customers and present to the sales business development team.

Qualifications

  1. Requires advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience.
  2. University Degree or equivalent. An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
  3. A minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience in sales of Refrigeration Equipment, preferably in KSA.
  4. KSA driving license.
