Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Riyadh at Recode World. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the event industry, with a strong background in sales management, client relationship development, and strategic planning. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive the sales team to achieve ambitious targets, optimize sales processes, and build lasting client partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement overarching sales strategies for the team, aligning with company objectives. Analyze market data to forecast sales trends and set sales targets for the team.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring their achievement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to help team members improve.
- Client Relationship Management: Oversee key client relationships and handle high-level negotiations. Resolve complex client issues that require managerial intervention.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the sales team is using Zoho CRM and other tools to their full potential.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales department’s budget, allocating resources effectively to meet targets. Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as necessary to stay on budget.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed sales reports and analysis for senior management, providing insights and recommendations. Monitor team performance against targets and KPIs, making adjustments to strategies as needed.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure the sales strategy aligns with overall company goals. Lead interdepartmental projects that impact the sales function.
- Training and Development: Organize and lead training sessions for the sales team to enhance their skills and product knowledge. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve team performance continuously.
- Sponsorship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships. Identify potential sponsorship opportunities and negotiate agreements that align with the company’s event objectives. Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to integrate sponsorships seamlessly into events and ensure sponsor satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales management role, with a strong background in the event industry. Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team to meet or exceed targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications in sales management or leadership are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Zoho CRM, with experience in sales process optimization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills in a leadership context.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with overall company goals. Experience in market analysis and forecasting to drive sales growth.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage high-level client relationships. Advanced negotiation skills for closing complex deals and securing long-term partnerships.
- Budget Management: Experience in managing a sales budget, with the ability to allocate resources effectively. Strong financial acumen and the ability to monitor and adjust financial strategies as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the sales strategy aligns with company objectives. Experience in leading or participating in cross-functional projects.
- Sponsorship Management: Experience in identifying and securing sponsorship opportunities, particularly within the event industry. Proven ability to negotiate and manage sponsorship agreements that add value to events and align with company goals. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to maintain and grow partnerships with sponsors over time.
