Job Description:

As Apave's Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to identify new jobs, develop strategies to drive growth, and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals. You will play an important role in expanding our customer base and revenue streams, focusing on mechanical/metal testing and environmental/chemical testing industries in the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the Saudi mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental market.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing industries in Saudi Arabia to drive business growth.
  3. Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with potential clients in the mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing industries, nurturing leads into successful sales opportunities.
  4. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Saudi mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing markets, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  5. Quota Achievement: Set and achieve quarterly and yearly sales targets specific to mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing industries in Saudi Arabia, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  6. Sales Offers: Prepare and offer compelling technical and commercial offers to potential customers in the Saudi lab market.
  7. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers in mechanical/metal testing and environmental/chemical testing industries to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  8. Government Projects: Utilize your experience in working on government project bids in the mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing sectors to identify and secure relevant opportunities.
  9. Market Expansion: Explore opportunities to expand into new markets or industries within Saudi Arabia and provide recommendations and strategies for growth in the mechanical/metallurgical and environmental/chemical testing sectors.
  10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multifunctional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align business development efforts with the company's objectives.
  11. Post-Sales Support: Follow up with clients after the sale to ensure successful service execution, customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling or contract renewals.
  12. Key Account Management: Manage key accounts and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic clients to ensure continued business and identify expansion opportunities.
  13. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with client needs and provide market feedback to enhance service offerings.
  14. Service Provider Registration: Ensure the company's registration as a TIC service provider with relevant government entities, regulatory bodies, and major industrial clients to facilitate participation in tenders and business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science, preferably with a Master's degree.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas in the mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing industries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager in mechanical/metallurgical testing and environmental/chemical testing companies in the Saudi market.
  • Experience in preparing technical and commercial offers.
  • Experience working on government project tenders.
