About the Role:
Mercer is seeking a Sales Director to drive the commercial growth of our business in Saudi Arabia. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you will be responsible for expanding Mercer’s footprint in the region by selling innovative HR, talent management, and organizational development solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the Saudi market, with established relationships in both the government and private sectors. You will play a key role in building the sales pipeline, consulting with senior leaders, and positioning Mercer’s assessment and development solutions.
This is a commercial role focused on business development and revenue generation, requiring a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to position Mercer’s solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the business development efforts in KSA, expanding Mercer’s reach in the market.
- Develop and maintain high-level client relationships, particularly within the government and private sectors.
- Sell and consult on complex human capital solutions, including talent assessments (behavioral, cognitive, 360 assessments, etc.) and leadership development solutions.
- Build and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth.
- Work closely with internal consulting and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations to senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Utilize PowerPoint and Excel effectively for sales proposals and reporting.
- Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to position Mercer as a leader in the industry.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Based in Saudi Arabia (Saudi nationals and expats with strong local market experience are welcome to apply).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (preferred).
- Strong commercial experience, with a track record of successfully selling HR, talent, or assessment-related solutions.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi market, with an established network of senior leaders in the government and private sectors.
- Experience in selling psychometric and talent assessment solutions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint and Excel to create compelling sales proposals.
- Results-driven, with the ability to manage a sales pipeline and achieve business growth targets.
