They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead their sales team and drive business growth. The Sales Director will develop and execute strategic sales plans, establish strong relationships with clients, and expand their market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall sales strategy, focusing on agriculture and irrigation solutions, to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales objectives. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the agriculture sector. Understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and customer insights in the agricultural and irrigation market in Saudi Arabia.
Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment in achieving business goals and effectively addressing customer needs.
Networking: Represent at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance visibility, network with industry leaders, and promote our products and services.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize sales potential.
Training and Development: Identify training needs for the sales team and coordinate training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge about products and market trends.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales and business development within the agriculture or irrigation industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of agricultural and irrigation products, technologies, and solutions, including experience with product lifecycle management and market positioning.
Saudi Experience: Proven track record of building relationships and conducting business in Saudi Arabia. Familiarity with local market dynamics, regulations, and business practices.
Strong understanding of agricultural practices, irrigation technologies, and market dynamics specific to Saudi Arabia.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to travel across Saudi Arabia as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
