The Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales teams to achieve the company's ambitious revenue and growth goals. This role requires strategic planning, strong team leadership, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners. The Sales Director will work closely with the sales manager and their sales team to ensure meeting company targets and drive growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans for the whole sales organization comprised of multiple vertical divisions, an meet or exceed revenue targets for the organization.
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, including regional sales managers, account executives, and sales representatives
Coach and mentor sales personnel to improve their sales skills and bring them up to world class level.
Enhance the sales team approach from reactive sales to proactive sales.
Work closely with the business development team to grow the business with new product and market reach.
Analyse sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted initiatives to drive growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to expand the company's customer base
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and new products/services to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management
Qualifications:
BS/MS degree in Business or a related field
18+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in the industrial trading industry, with a proven track record of success.
Experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and driving double-digit revenue growth.
